Holistic Nutrition is about more than simply what you put in your mouth.  As a Registered Holistic Nutritionist I believe that health begins within you, where you are and what you are feeling. I look at health from the perspective of not just your food intake, but also your emotional well being.

If you are feeling stressed then already you will not be digesting your food properly, you will not be absorbing nutrients, you will not be sleeping properly. All of these things affect your health at a fundamental level.  There are basic things every single person can do to improve their health and nutrition, including ensure proper sleep hygiene, chewing their food slowly (until it turns into mush in your mouth), and drinking enough water. You would be surprised how much these three things can change your whole life.
